What are Componeers?

Componeers are industrially manufactured nano-hybrid composite shells that are extremely strong and very thin – only 0.3 mm thick! In addition, they contain no air bubbles, which can form between layers of filling material during conventional tooth restoration. Their glossy, naturally shaped surface ensures a beautiful smile.

When should Componeers be placed?

When the front teeth have many fillings.
To cover built-up teeth and make them look natural.
To correct the row of teeth and make it more even.
To make the shade of the teeth lighter.
To improve the appearance of worn teeth.

How are Componeers placed?

Placing componeers starts with a consultation with our specialist Dr Julia Julin. The whole procedure is carried out at our clinic in one visit and, depending on the number of componeers, takes from 2 to 4 hours. During the procedure, the outer surface of the teeth is shaped as needed to achieve the best result, and the shells are fixed to the outer surfaces of the teeth with filling material. If necessary, anaesthesia is given and old fillings are replaced.
