Oral surgery covers various dental, gum and jaw surgery procedures needed to maintain the health of the teeth, gums and jaws and to improve aesthetics.
We perform the following oral surgery procedures:
- Tooth extraction
- Wisdom tooth removal.
- Root-tip removal (apicoectomy)
- Deep cleaning of gum pockets
- Removal of jaw cysts
- Tongue-tie and lip-tie surgery
- Preparing the socket for implant placement (ideally, come in before the tooth is extracted)
- Bone grafting
- Implant placement.
To support treatment, we sometimes use tooth splinting, i.e. placing a supporting fibre, either to stabilise a tooth loosened by trauma or to achieve a better result after surgery.
We also make various dental trays and mouthguards.
